Patano Studio Architecture is a practice that investigates and implements Building|Nature – our work intensifies natural experiences and naturalizes cities. Our buildings utilize locally sourced materials with specific emphasis on mass timber technologies and wood structures. High in the mountains and out in the open spaces of the west our architecture captures light and creates human-scaled spaces for learning, observing and extending our curiosity into the environment and out into the cosmos. Our urban strategies are based on the city being a living organism – we are building a future where our cities are healthy, regenerative, energy generating centers for living.

From completed waterfront rehabilitation and treasured public parks to proposing a 2 mile long topography-park into the center of Seattle – Patano Studio Architecture’s commitment to Building|Nature drives our work forward. It all starts with our clients – our process of ‘finding YES!’ is the basis of all conversations, we excel at finding a way forward.
